Towards Global Competitiveness in the Professional Coaching Space – ICF Prism Award – 2015

In 2015, we launched an initiative to take local organizations that have embedded coaching culture to the global competitiveness space.   For the first time in history, we had a leading local organization nominated to the ICF Prism Award and go through the assessment process to the final stage. Though the company didn’t emerge as the top winner, the learning experience was great. This has set us in a space to prepare more companies for this award in the future starting with the local CDI-Africa’s ESCCO challenge. Launch of the CDI-Africa’s ESCCO Challenge

This is in a bid to provide a local advisory and support network for entrenching sustainable coaching culture in organization. The ESCCO challenge is benchmarked on the PRISM Award. Winners of the ESCCO challenge will automatically get nominated for the ICF’s Annual Global Prism Award.

Multiplication of the Professional Coaching Capacity in Kenya

True to our business motto, we continue to “advance the coaching profession” through training and certification of both external and internal coaches. Our target is to train over 200 new coaches in Kenya in 2016.

  • The CELC Program kicked off in January; the next intake is scheduled for May, 2016.
  • The CEPC Program kicked off in January; the next intake is in March, 2016
  • The COEC Program is ongoing; the next intake is in March 2016.

Alumni Development

We have structured a process of providing our alumni with a platform to grow and develop through mentoring and associate opportunities within CDI-Africa. Alumni interested in partaking the CDI-Africa opportunities are invited to contact us and express their interest.

Global Benchmarking – ICF Prism Award

As a build up to the last year initiative, we will be nominating local companies to participate in the ICF Prism Award in 2016. We have earmarked 5 local companies for this initiative during the pilot phase and we are at different stages of instituting the requirements with them.

Launch of the Annual Coaching conference for the HR Professionals

We recognize the need to continuously sensitize and create awareness on the coaching trends to the HR professionals. This year, we will be launching an annual event – Coaching Conference for the HR Professionals – where we discuss both local and global trends in organizational coaching. Stay in the loop for details
