New Initiative towards Embedding Coaching in Organizations

“Everything rises and falls with leadership”, a quote by John C. Maxwell, is a favorite of Jayne Ngethe, the Group Human Resource Manager of Unga Group Plc. It is with this mindset that the Unga Group Plc made the critical decision to include coach training as the foundation for its leadership development program for 2021 – 2022. The partnership with CDI-Africa Coaching Group will see the organization’s 34 executive and senior leaders undertake an 8-week Leadership Masterclass: Coaching for Performance. This is an ICF-Accredited program that blends leadership, coaching and mentoring modules all geared towards developing a strong human-centered leadership and a high performance culture.
The leadership of Unga Group Plc led by Nicholas Hutchinson, the Group Managing Director further envisages a sub-culture organization of peer-to-peer coaching, where leaders will offer each other confidant sounding boards for navigating both business and personal challenges.
At CDI- Africa Coaching Group, we are excited to onboard Unga Group Plc join many other organizations we are partnering with towards embedding a sustainable coaching culture, which is our core forte for transforming leaders and organizations.
“Coaching is a wonderful journey and you can do so much with it outside your work with your relationships and other businesses.” Nicholas Hutchinson, Group Managing Director, Unga Group Plc

“We want to create a coaching culture where coaching conversations are integrated into the work and leaders are daily consumers and providers of coaching.”
