NEW: The Global Coaching Index (GCI) – Assessment Platform and Practitioner Program

Published by admin on

Organizations that invest in coaching want to reap a worthwhile return on Investment (RoI). Globally, there has been a need to develop a tool to measure the level of coaching that leaders are offering their teams, the effectiveness of coaching services being offered and the impact of coaching to businesses. There’s also a need to be able to keep measuring how well coaching is entrenched as a leadership culture as well as identifying the gaps to be addressed in order to effectively reap the benefits of a coaching culture.

This global conversation and need inspired the development of a revolutionary set of global tools and products clustered under one integrated ecosystem – The Global Coaching Index. Finally, we can measure and scale leadership and coaching in organizations, thanks to over 5 years of research and development at CDI-Africa Coaching Group, led by our founder and coaching guru, Eileen Laskar, who’s a Master Certified Coach (MCC), with over 15 years and 5000 hours of coaching experience.

To ensure the highest levels of standards, the coaching index technical tool is only administered by certified coaches and who have to be trained and certified as practitioners through the rigorous Global Coaching Index (GCI) Practitioner program – an advanced coaching mastery program accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). The program has 36 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) units, and is uniquely designed to develop, equip and multiply certified practitioner coaches who can effectively administer the Global Coaching Index assessment tool to leaders across organizations.

In August, the Inaugural cohort of the GCI Practitioner Program kicked off with 15 delegates who are all certified and experienced coaches, and already serving as either external and internal coaches. With this new advanced certification, the internal coaches can effectively facilitate the progressive entrenchment of a coaching culture in their respective organizations, and external coaches can position themselves as global partners and experts for organizations seeking to embed coaching.

I am very excited about this Global Coaching Index Practitioner Program because I love solutions that come from Africa. When Eileen Laskar told me she has developed an assessment tool, I said I would be in that room and be among the first people to consume the product, because I believe solutions can come from Africa. I am very keen to know more about this solution and how we can use the index to make an impact.”

Amongst many other benefits, becoming a Global Coaching Index Practitioner allows you as an internal or external coach to position themselves as an organizational coaching expert and measure the impact of your coaching work which further builds on your credibility and offers a platform for next level interventions. I think the Global Coaching Index Assessment tool is the most brilliant thing I have ever heard of. I love tools. Any tool that is an assessment can be used in training. And with this tool I can see myself moving with it and making it a source of income.
